Patrick Elliott, driving a Subaru WRC, has today won the Clonmel-based Sepam Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally, the seventh round of the Dunlop National Rally Championship.

In today's Hotel Kilmore Cavan Rally, Dunlop National Rally Championship series leader Niall Maguire (Subaru) increased his championship lead courtesy of an eight-second victory over local driver, Patrick Elliott (Subaru WRC).

Competing in a World Rally Car on gravel surface for the first time, Gareth MacHale made it a winning debut in the Carrick on Suir Forest Rally, round one of the McCauley Trailers National Forest Championship.

On home ground, Niall Maguire and Paul McLaughlin (Subaru WRC) took a comfortable victory in the Hillgrove Hotel Monaghan Rally, the second round of the Dunlop National Rally Championship.
