POLICE have identified the killer of a nine-year-old boy who was raped and strangled 24 years ago.

Kettering chairman Imraan Ladak has admitted to offering wayward star Paul Gascoigne a career lifeline prior to their acrimonious parting of the ways.

PAUL GASCOIGNE last night insisted the players and staff at Kettering Town were behind him as he vowed to attend tonight’s match at Alfreton and eventually regain control of the club.

Paul Gascoigne’s involvement at Kettering is shrouded in confusion after chairman Imraan Ladak claimed the former England man had left the club, with Gascoigne insisting he was prepared to buy out Ladak in order to stay on.
