THE Aidan O’Brien-trained Wading proved the star of last night’s action in Dundalk, the Montjeu filly powering to an impressive four-and-a-half lengths win in the Irish Stallion Farms 2-Y-0 Fillies Maiden.

KATLA, the only horse trained by John Grogan in New Inn, County Tipperary, recorded her second listed success when pipping Empowering in the Dark Angel Sweet Mimosa Stakes in Naas last night.
