Action man Vin Diesel is begging Mel Gibson to help him get his pet movie project Hannibal into production.

Action man Vin Diesel has been forced to scale down his epic labour of love, Hannibal The Conquerer, after learning his ideas would cost a studio more than $210m (€306m).
