DOZENS of Kenyans have offered to adopt a baby girl abandoned in a forest and later saved by a stray dog.

A NEWBORN baby dumped in a Kenyan forest was miraculously saved by a stray dog which carried her across a busy road and through a barbed-wire fence to a shed where she was eventually discovered with a litter of pups.

A nursing dog foraging for food retrieved an abandoned baby girl in a forest in Kenya and carried the infant to its litter of puppies, witnesses said today.
