Irish Nations Cup showjumper Billy Twomey won the inaugural Royal Festival of the Horse Grand Prix at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire today.

There was huge disappointment for Ireland’s show jumpers at finishing second in yesterday’s nations cup at the Fáilte Dublin Horse Show.

Olympian Odyssey’s participation in the Vodafone Derby will not be confirmed until the last minute, according to his owner Bill Gredley.

Olympian Odyssey, third in the Stan James 2000 Guineas, is likely to tackle the Vodafone Derby rather than run in France.
