TOP amateur jockey Derek O'Connor starred on the second day of the Limerick festival yesterday with a double that included Coolnahilla's victory in the featured Tim Duggan Memorial Handicap Chase.

KING CAREW, the horse who gave Timmy Murphy one of the worst falls ever seen on an Irish racecourse at last year’s Galway Festival, made it up to the pilot somewhat when landing the featured May Bank Holiday Handicap Chase at Limerick yesterday.
