More than a third of chronic pain sufferers waited over a year for diagnosis, with one in three fearing their condition would jeopardise their jobs, it was revealed today.

CHRONIC pain costs €6,000-€10,000 a year for each sufferer when loss of earnings, hospital fees and bills for other medical treatments and supports are added up.

A EUROPEAN-WIDE awareness campaign for people suffering from neuropathic pain has been launched.
