AS the country basks in the summer sun, the Irish Cancer Society has warned that you don’t have to be abroad to be exposed to the dangers of skin cancer.

EXPERTS last night warned of the dangers of using sunbeds as it emerged more than 185,000 people ignore the fact they can cause skin cancer.

SUNSCREEN products may not do enough to prevent skin cancer, researchers have warned.

THREE out of four Irish people are unaware that catching some rays on those rare sunny days at home exposes them to a serious cancer risk.
