Forensic investigators are scouring bog land in Dundalk as part of an 18-year-old search for a missing teenage girl.

Missing persons records were being examined tonight after two unidentified people were found burnt to death in a car close to the border.

The rapist at the centre of the "C Case" in the 1990's has been jailed for 21 years by Mr Justice George Birmingham for raping an 86-year-old woman in her home last year.
