A 16-year-old boy who was caught in the Dublin Children's Courthouse with eight deals of heroin hidden in his boxer shorts has been given a six-month sentence.

A west Dublin father who sexually assaulted a young relative while her parents were out has had his sentence adjourned to next December by Judge Frank O'Donnell at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
