Bankrupt developer Sean Dunne is to appeal a High Court ruling that a warrant used to search a house in the K-Club was valid.

The High Court has dismissed developer Sean Dunne’s bid to quash a warrant under which the official in charge of his Irish bankruptcy searched a house where various assets were seized.

Developer Sean Dunne strongly disputes claims there was a secret panel in a bookshelf wall of a K-Club house where valuable artwork may have been stored before the property was searched by the official dealing with his bankruptcy, the High Court has heard.

Developer Seán Dunne has failed to overturn his Irish bankruptcy but will apply on Monday to recover property seized by the official assignee in bankruptcy from a luxury house in Co Kildare, the ownership of which was described by a High Court judge as “somewhat vague”.

A BANK to which Gayle Dunne wired $500,000 (€365,000) has no record of any account held by a lawyer accused of siphoning off the money from the Dublin socialite.
