They have lived in the shadows of other Kerry football schools in previous seasons, but yesterday was a golden afternoon for Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne as they claimed their first Corn Uí Mhuirí title.

POBALSCOIL Chorca Dhuibhne advanced to a second successive Corn Ui Mhuiri semi-final after a five point win over their conquerors last year, De La Salle Macroom in Killarney.

AT the start of the campaign, few would have predicted a De La Salle, Macroom/Corcha Dhuibhne semi-final in the Corn Ui Mhuirí (Munster colleges SFC).
