ALL-IRELAND champions Cork survived an extremely stern examination from Tipperary at The Ragg.

An Orla Cotter stoppage-time free gave Cork their second successive All-Ireland senior title and fourth in five years as Kilkenny were made to pay late once again.

Kilkenny captain Shelly Farrell was barely able to speak after her side ground out a three-point victory over Galway in a titanic Liberty Insurance All-Ireland senior camogie semi-final at Semple Stadium on Saturday night.

Kilkenny and Cork progressed to the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League Division 1 final on April 23 after overcoming the challenges of Galway and Limerick respectively.
