A 33-year-old man has been remanded in custody with consent to bail after he was charged with three counts of threatening to kill, and one each of endangerment and assault causing harm.

A garda feared for his life when he was caught in a speed-trap van as a “petrol bomb” was thrown inside and yesterday a man on trial for arson and endangerment was found not guilty following a legal argument.

A 30-year-old man has been remanded on bail after he was charged in connection with a petrol bomb attack on a garda speed camera van, in Co Cork over 18 months ago.
