A 33-year-old Cork woman was arrested and charged yesterday with 17 counts of theft related to the fraudulent claiming of over €43,000 of job seekers’ allowance for a period of more than four years.

Two Cork men facing different charges arising out of a serious assault on a Spanish national in Cork city a year ago have had their bail revoked.
