A cocaine-addicted father who was caught with almost €140,000 in cannabis resin has been given a seven-year sentence by Judge Katherine Delahunt at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A Kildare man who told gardaí he was "living in fear" but would be "in even more trouble" if he revealed who he was scared of has had been given a three years sentence for possession of guns.
