A DOCTOR who examined a man alleged to have been assaulted by gardaí found abrasions on his forehead and nasal area and a bruise on his left bicep, a court heard yesterday.

The video evidence in the trial of a garda accused of assaulting a colleague outside the Department of An Taoiseach was not available, a court heard today.
