SPORTS Minister Martin Cullen, has reaffirmed his commitment to the completion of the National Sports Campus in Abbotstown.

ON A day that will be remembered at the Paralympic Games for the bronze medal- winning performance of Gabriel Shelly in the individual Boccia competition, Ireland’s other paralympians were not to be outdone, setting new Irish records in the velodrome, and the Water Cube.

Ireland’s Gabriel Shelly won an individual bronze medal in the Boccia competition this morning.

The Irish Paralympic track and field athletes leave Dublin today for the 2002 IPC World Athletics Championships in Lille, France.
