A biodiverse Coillte forest in Glengarriff, Co Cork, was last night named the winner of a prestigious RDS award at a ceremony in historic Farmleigh House in Dublin.

ONLY 12,000 hectares of new forests will be planted this year, according to an independent report carried out by Peter Bacon and Associates Economic Consultants.
