Ulster champion Thomas Mackle beat Christy Mullins on Sunday in the feature score of the benefit festival for the cancer unit at Cork University Hospital in Shannonvale.

Tony Carey beat Tony Dunlea by two bowls in the Munster veteran final at Kilcorney on Monday to set up an All-Ireland final meeting with Oliver Gribben, who retained his Ulster title on the same evening.

Christy Mullins reached his second successive Munster senior final when he dethroned Munster and European champion David Murphy in the last shot at Shannonvale on Sunday.
