US President Barack Obama has asked for a review of the botched execution of an Oklahoma inmate which he said he found “deeply troubling”.

Barack Obama visited tornado-devastated Oklahoma, consoling people staggered by the loss of life and property and promising that the US government would be behind them “every step of the way”.
