A Westmeath man on trial for possessing child pornography has claimed in evidence that because an Asian female in an image wore a school uniform did not mean she was a school girl.

The jury in the trial of a Westmeath man charged with possessing child pornography has been viewing the alleged illegal images recovered by gardaí from a Dublin City University office and a house in the city.
