A MAJOR painting from le Brocquy’s celebrated Tinker series will lead the 23 Irish works at Sotheby’s sale of British and Irish art in London on December 10. 

IN the heady days of the late 1990s when Irish art was new to the international market it seemed as if you could sell anything once it was from an Irish artist. It is not like that now.

Paintings from one of Ireland’s most prestigious art collections are to be sold in London.
