Chambers Ireland’s Transport Users Council has today welcomed the commitment by Government to invest in excess of €12bn in the transport network.

Chambers Ireland’s Transport Users Council has called on the Government to release motor tax revenues raised in 2010 to a once-off emergency fund to repair all of the secondary and tertiary roads that were damaged in the extreme weather conditions last winter.

The Luas is to be extended into the centre of the Co Wicklow seaside town of Bray, transport chiefs confirmed today.
