The jury in the trial of a man and woman accused of murdering a taxi driver who was killed in a frenzied knife attack last year in north Dublin was sent away today in order to allow legal argument in its absence.

A woman accused of murdering a taxi driver in Dublin shouted encouragement as her partner, also charged with the murder, repeatedly stabbed the victim, a court heard today.

A Central Criminal Court jury has heard that a taxi driver was allegedly stabbed to death in front of his partner and two year old son last year in Blanchardstown.
