The wife of serial killer Harold Shipman was today ending her public silence on her husband’s crimes by giving evidence about him for the first time.

Harold Shipman is being interviewed by detectives in connection with nine suspicious deaths between 1974 and 1975.

A Yorkshire woman now living in Tennessee believes she may have been one of the first intended victims of Harold Shipman.
