A 13-month-old boy whose parents were unduly influenced by anti-vaccine information on social media ended up in intensive care at University Hospital Galway (UHG) with a preventable illness.

A six-year-old girl was referred to hospital a number of times over a five-year period with vomiting and dehydration but no underlying cause had been established when she died, an inquest heard.
