A provisional liquidator has been appointed by the High Court to a Dublin-based printing business that specialises in bingo cards, scratch cards and lottery tickets, with some 47 employees.

A man who beat a woman so badly he left the print of his shoe on her body had his two-year prison term substituted to 240 hours’ community service.
