A 22 year-old north Dublin man who kicked a garda in the face and in a separate incident viciously assaulted a man in his fifties on Christmas morning has been jailed for three years by Dublin Circuit Court.

A 25-year-old man has been given a 12-year sentence by Judge Frank O’Donnell at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for transporting ecstasy with an estimated €2.6m street value.
