DAMIAN and Noel Fleming, who bred English Derby winner Taylors Sky, earned the plaudits at Curraheen Park on Saturday night when that one’s half-brother, Rising Magic, took the featured O’Riordan Brothers’ Tarmacadam A1 final.

DROOPYS RODGER, a son of English Derby winner Droopys Scholes and also trained by Ian Reilly, smashed the track record when winning the opening second round heat of the Bar-One Racing Irish Sprint Cup over Dundalk's 400 yards on Friday.

THE seasons are certainly changing as far as greyhounds are concerned. In years gone by, tracks would be winding down and all major competitions would be completed at this stage of the year. Indeed times have changed.
