Three Bosnian Serbs charged with genocide, were today accused of massacring thousands of Muslims “like animals” in the UN safe area of Srebrenica during the Bosnia war.

A Bosnian Serb army officer who served near Srebrenica where 8,000 Muslim men and boys were massacred has surrendered to the UN war crimes tribunal.
