The Bishop of Derry, Dr Seamus Hegarty, is to step down for health reasons at the age of 71.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with breaking in to the home of the Bishop of Derry, Dr Seamus Hegarty.

The Government has asked all Bishops to clarify their procedures regarding the removal of priests accused of abuse.
