Britain‘s Laura Davies and Karen Stupples made the cut as the storm-hit McDonald’s LPGA Championship finally reached the halfway stage at Bulle Rock in Maryland.

Laura Davies admitted she was “totally gutted” when a long delay for stormy weather left her facing the prospect of having to complete her second round of the McDonald’s LPGA Championship tomorrow morning.

Britain’s Laura Davies shot a tournament best seven-under-par 65 in the final round of the LPGA Tournament of Champions in Mobile, Alabama, but it wasn’t quite good enough to end her long victory drought on the LPGA Tour.
