Cork City have been fined by the FAI after one of its supporters racially abused Bray Wanderers player Ismahil Akinade at last week’s home game at Turners Cross.

After suffering narrow back-to-back defeats by Sligo Rovers and St Patrick’s Athletic, Limerick are hoping for an improved return at Thomond Park this evening, when they host a Shamrock Rovers side desperate for a win.

Limerick go in search of their second win since returning to the top flight when they welcome a St Patrick’s Athletic side who have been out of action for over a fortnight due to the unseasonal weather to Thomond Park this evening (kick-off 7.45pm).
