Liam Gallagher is hoping to cast Johnny Depp in the Beatles movie he is making.

Liam Gallagher today said the film he was producing about the Beatles’ Apple Corps would not herald the start of a movie-making career.

The former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher is developing a film about The Beatles – made up of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the late John Lennon and George Harrison – which will explore the band’s ‘stoned’ years between 1967 and 1970, and their eventual demise.
