The High Court has given the new owners of Cork City FC until lunchtime tomorrow to pay a debt of €160,000 to the Revenue Commissioners or the club will be wound up.

CORK CITY might have won the battle in the High Court yesterday but nobody doubts that the club is only in the early stages of a long war.

CORK CITY are facing into a make or break fortnight, after a High Court judge yesterday gave the club a deadline of two weeks in which to settle a debt of more than €360,000 which is owed to the Revenue Commissioners.
