Ireland has scored a D grade for physical activity in children, a slight improvement on just scraping a pass two years previously.

Ireland has received a ‘D minus’ on an international scale measuring physical activity levels in youngsters.

Ireland will finally receive internationally recognised grades on the level of activity of children next year, researchers have confirmed.
