Holders Corofin, winners of a dozen Galway SFC titles in the past 23 years, remain on course to retain their crown after an emphatic 4-14 to 0-2 semi-final win over Milltown.

The most prolific winners of the Galway SFC, Tuam Stars, blasted their way past Killanin and into the third round of the 2012 campaign in Pearse Stadium yesterday.

FORMER Galway inter-county sharpshooter, Derek Savage, rolled back the years and fired Cortoon Shamrocks into the second round of the Galway SFC.
