The Alfred Beit Foundation is back in the black after recording a profit of €5.4m in 2015 on the back of two sales of its six ‘Old Masters’ paintings.

Works of art by Peter Paul Rubens, David Teniers the Younger, and Francesco Guardi are among a small group of carefully selected Old Masters from Russborough House that will be sold at Christie’s in London in July.
