British fugitive Raoul Moat appeared to have been chased through Rothbury town and was heading east before being cornered by police at the primary school tennis courts and bowling green, according to an eye-witness.

Witness Paula Mason said her mother could see British fugitive Raoul Moat sitting with a gun pointed to his head outside her house in the town of Rothbury in Northumbria this evening.
