CORK minor Paul Fitzgerald emerged as Coláiste Chríost Rí’s hero as the defending Corn Uí Mhuiri champions battled through to an all-Cork semi-final of the Munster colleges’ competition.

FOR the first time in over half a century, Rochestown College will partake in the Corn Uí Mhuirí this afternoon when they face Clare’s St Flannan’s in Group A of this season’s competition.

INSPIRED by a 1-7 haul from Jamie Moriarty, Tralee CBS were crowned Kerry Colleges O’Sullivan Cup champions at Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney yesterday.

WITH their hurlers safely through to the Harty Cup final, St. Flannan’s bid to get their footballers through to the Corn Uí Mhuirí decider when they take on Tralee CBS in the semi-final at Glin tomorrow (2.30pm).
