People living around Clontarf in Dublin are being asked to report suspicious behaviour following a recent spate of muggings.

Two men have been remanded in custody, charged in connection with a drugs seizure in Cork on Thursday worth more than €5m.

Three men were charged today over a seizure of herbal cannabis worth about €400,000 in north Dublin on Sunday night.
