St. Kieran’s College continue to reign over the schools’ hurling kingdom after a late goal from Conor Kelly and eight points from the stick of Eoin Cody helped them to retain their Croke Cup crown at the expense of Presentation College of Athenry this afternoon in Tullamore.

Croke Cup holders St Kieran’s College will appear in their sixth consecutive All Ireland final at the end of the month as Ballyhale Shamrocks hero Eoin Cody scored eight points (five frees and three from play) in a nervy victory over CBC at the WIT Arena this afternoon.

St Kieran’s College (Kilkenny) 2-12 Coláiste Cholmáin (Fermoy) 1-12: With 40 minutes played Coláiste Cholmáin had their noses in front in Clonmel as they aimed to claim All-Ireland hurling glory at U16 level but they could only manage a single point thereafter as rivals St Kieran’s grabbed control.

Kilkenny passed a test of stamina to take back their second Tony Forristal U14 title in three years at Walsh Park on Saturday evening.
