The Pilot Training College Waterford has gone incommunicado and trainees have been left high and dry, writes trainee pilot Conor Deeny

Pilots who were left out of pocket for up to €83,000 for flight training with the Pilot Training Centre of Ireland are planning to picket the Dáil on Wednesday.

“I can’t describe how bad it is. It’s terrible to see grown men in tears. People are feeling highly depressed here. The mental strain is terrible. We loved this course. We’re devastated.”
