A University of Limerick study has highlighted the potential for up to 300 jobs in a national refurbishment programme for waste electrical and electronic equipment.

A Belfast man who was involved in two robberies, one where a security guard was stabbed and another where a knife was held to the throat of a cashier, has received a six-year sentence with two suspended.
