DETECTIVES investigating the multi-million pound Securitas depot raid in Britain were engaged in an urgent hunt last night for the lorry used in the huge cash haul.

A bank employee’s partner was tied up and his baby held hostage before he was forced to steal £200,000 (€293,000) from a Belfast bank, it emerged tonight.

THE £50-million (€73.5m) heist from a security depot in Kent was carried out with “military precision” by professional robbers operating at the “top level” of organised crime, a senior police officer has said.
