Cork County Council has turned matchmaker to the region’s artists and venue owners in a bid to connect them ahead of next month’s colourful Culture Night.

IN the early months of 2009, staunch Nenagh Golf Club members, Paddy Heffernan and Seamus Hogan, began to plan an assault on the Bulmers All-Ireland Bruen Shield.

ALL the drama and excitement associated with the Bulmers Irish Cups and Shields came very much to the fore at Kenmare Golf Club when Nenagh and Douglas qualified for the national finals of the Jimmy Bruen and Pierce Purcell Shields.
