Tipperary’s Brendan Cummins claimed a record ninth M Donnelly All-Ireland Poc Fada title on Saturday in the Cooley Mountains, but the event wasn’t without controversy with uncertainty over who claimed the camogie title.

Wexford kept alive their four-in-a-row hopes with a gritty 1-11 to 1-10 All-Ireland senior camogie quarter-final victory over Offaly at Portlaoise on Saturday.

Defending champion Brendan Cummins, who is chasing his seventh All-Ireland Poc Fada title, will have to beat some of hurling's best talents in the final on Annaverna Mountain next month.
