An Gaeltacht (Kerry) 3-21 St Senan’s (Limerick) 0-8: Much like last year, when it was also a Kerry v Limerick pairing in the Munster Intermediate Club final, An Ghaeltacht showed little mercy to St Senan’s in becoming the fourth consecutive Kerry side to win this title and the 10th from the Kingdom to do so in the last 11 years.

For the first time since 2009, Kerry will begin a championship match against Cork without Kieran Donaghy filling the number 14 shirt after he was left out of Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s side for Sunday’s Munster SFC final in Killarney (2pm).

Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne are banking on experience gained from last year’s campaign to drive them one step further when they face Leinster champions St Patrick’s, Navan, in the All-Ireland Colleges SAFC semi-final this afternoon (Nenagh, 1.30pm).

After a late switch of venue from Abbeyfeale to Rathkeale due to the weather, last year’s beaten finalists Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne advanced to an all-Kerry semi-final meeting with Tralee CBS.
